Selected date

Wednesday February 5

Selected time

6:00 PM  –  9:00 PM

Most of us interact with some form of wayfinding on a daily basis. It is all around us, in many different forms, yet few of us ever think about it much—except when it is not there. So, what exactly is wayfinding? By definition, it is any organized system of visual clues that are used to orient and guide persons through an environment. But did you know that there is both an art and a science to determining what those clues are, and how they get there?

Join Chris Rogers, the founder of the Miami FL design studio Yazi, as he discusses the principals and practice of wayfinding, and how Yazi approached, planned, and designed the new wayfinding program for downtown Columbia.
