CDL Annual Meeting featuring Mike Lydon
The Columbia Design League begins its 22nd season of programming on Thursday, September 6 with tactical urbanism expert Mike Lydon of Street Plans, an award-winning urban planning, design, and research/advocacy firm. An internationally recognized planner and advocate for livable cities, Mike is the creator of the The Open Streets Project and author of several respected guides for civic design.
Mike also will serve as jury chair for the Columbia Design League’s upcoming Play with Your City initiative, featuring a design competition to link the Main Street and Vista districts of the city.
The annual meeting will begin with a social hour at 6:00 p.m. and the lecture will begin at approximately 7:00 p.m. Light refreshments, and beer and wine will be served.
