The STEAM Institute at CMA

July 6-10, 2015. 

Sessions in STEAM education will be held for K-12 South Carolina educators with emphasis on how they can bring STEAM into their classrooms.  The days will consist of morning sessions with lectures and hands-on implementation of concepts learned followed by a lunch break and afternoon sessions that encourage educators to build on what they have learned.   This five- day institute aims to make STEAM concepts more accessible to educators.  Dr. Mary Lou Hightower of USC Upstate will be teaching the class along with a session at Congaree National Park led by CMA educators and Park educators.  Completion of this class earns the participant 3 graduate credits hours from USC Upstate.

After you purchase your ticket, you will receive an email with links for USC Upstate registration. Please note you will be charged an additional $10 by USC Upstate to submit your application.

Please Note: If you are paying through Purchase Order, the museum needs to receive payment by July 1 or your registration in the program will become invalid. Purchase Orders need to be sent to:
