10:00 AM  –  1:00 PM

Woodblock carving and printing provides us opportunities to see our world with fresh eyes. In this two-session workshop, we will carve two complementary woodblocks and create a variable edition of color prints using multiple inking techniques and chine collé, a printmaking collage technique. This workshop is appropriate for beginners as well as advanced artists; no previous printmaking experience is necessary. All materials and equipment provided. Capacity limited to 10 participants to ensure physical distancing in the CMA studios; face coverings are required.

Mary Robinson is a Professor of Art and Director of Printmaking at the University of South Carolina, where she teaches both undergraduate and graduate students. In 2020, she received the Michael J.
