Rethinking Inking

In this three-part class, learn how to work both technically and gesturally with India ink on a variety of surfaces. This class will focus on thinking about ink outside of strict linework and will encourage participants to work loosely and experimentally with materials. This class will be taught by local artist Stephanie Allen, who is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in studio art with a concentration in drawing and a Bachelor of Arts in English. Stephanie has worked with the CMA education team for the past two summers and, in addition to her studio practice, writes on local arts for Jasper Magazine. All supplies and equipment provided. Ages 15 & up.
