Linocut Printmaking

In this one-day workshop, students take inspiration from prints found in The Art of Elizabeth Catlett exhibition and create a small print edition using the linocut technique. All equipment and supplies are provided ages 15-adult. Taught by Kat Hampton, a Columbia-based artist, teacher, and founder of 36 Frames Art & Literary Co-Op working across a variety of disciplines including printmaking, photography, and mixed media. She currently teaches at Westwood High School in Richland Two and has been an instructor for the CMA since 2013.

 

Class must meet a minimum of 5 students to hold. In the case of a cancellation, students will receive a full refund of their purchase.
