In this one-day workshop, students create a hanging sculpture inspired by pieces found in the Amanda McCavour: Bright Little Day Stars exhibition. Ages 15-adult, all materials and equipment provided. Taught by local art educator and artist, Blakely Sheely. Sheely earned a BA from Winthrop University and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Lander University. She is a National Board-Certified 3D art educator at Dutch Fork High School, where she has been teaching for 15 years. Sheely is a working artist in fiber, metals, ceramics, and jewelry and has taught workshops and classes with the CMA since 2015.
Class must meet a minimum of 5 students to hold. In the case of a cancellation, students will receive a full refund of their purchase.
