Kickstart your Art: Educator Workshop
Designed for art teachers (all levels)

Price: $50/$40 members
Cost is partially subsidized thanks to a grant from Colonial Life.
This one-day workshop is specially designed with art teachers in mind. Arts educators will learn the basics of Visual Thinking Strategies and participate in guided gallery activities that incorporate inquiry-based discussion and games to engage and inspire. From there teachers will participate in hands-on mini workshops on 2D and 3D art, led by professional practicing artists, to get inspired and learn new techniques to replicate in the classroom, followed by a tutorial on framing and matting. All materials used during workshop will be provided. Registration fee includes gallery admission. Participants will earn eight hours of professional renewal credit.
