Chaye Alexander presents Live on Boyd Plaza

Spend the afternoon enjoying the sounds of soul, jazzed up and expertly delivered by Brittany Turnipseed and Rod Foster & Company. In honor of the cancelled concert inspired by Black is Beautiful: the Photography of Kwame Brathwaite in the summer of 2020, and inspired further by the contemporary works presented in 30 Americans, this concert will send you on a wonderful journey with the songs of Miles Davis, Anita Baker, Sarah Vaughan, Nancy Wilson, Lauryn Hill, Etta James, Chaka Khan, Jill Scott and much more. Presented and hosted by Chaye Alexander.

Programming support provided by Friends of African Americans Arts & Culture (FAAAC).

Entry into the museum galleries included with your tickets.

Food, beer and wine available for purchase.

Reminder: plaza seating is limited so remember you can bring your own chair for optimal plaza comfort!
